So how are you 740 Slim owners getting along with your guns now? Is it comfortable to carry? Has anybody chronographed any rounds yet? I'm taking a CCW class soon and the Slim looks kind of attractive to me.

I have the 709 slim, which is the same thing but in 9mm. It's very comfortable to carry and conceals very easily. Nice trigger too once you get used to it.
My slim works for me, I love the adjustable sights, mine are dead on for point of aim. Very comfortable to carry with a smooth trigger. I have about 400 rounds through mine, I can make accurate hits out to 15 yards. The only time I experienced jams was with Federal 115 gr in the maroon box, I think those rounds are a little underpowered and they didnt cycle well. One downside to me is the manual states that the gun is not +p rated, so standard pressure rounds only.
When I carry it, I am usually bike riding, jogging, or its hot. The Slim gets carried maybe 30% of the time, the rest of the time its my compact 1911 or G29.
