Anybody shooting a first generation Taurus Millennium?? PT132...

Found one for 240 bucks and thinking about getting it for my wife... it will be her first pistol and will mainly be a nightstand and plinking gun...

yes I reload.... yes I will reload for it if I get it

If it is going to be nightstand gun AND a plinking gun, you may want something a little more substantial - along the lines of a 9mm. If it positively absolutely has to be a 32ACP, look along the lines of CZ or FEG for that price range.

Not going to even talk about the other obvious issue...

Robertsons Trading Post had some CZ 83's in .32 ACP for $239 buy it now on Auction Arms. I bought one and it is great. 16 round mag too. They were police trade ins, so there may be more out there. Mine shoots great and runs like a top. (He has one listed there now, but it is more money and looks worse than the ones he sold a few weeks ago)

J&G sales has surplus CZ 83's in .380, which has more pop.

I do not know anything about the Taurus Millenniums in .32 ACP, although I considered getting one before I got my Beretta 81 and then this CZ 83.

Wish I could be more helpful. :)

I bought one used about 2 years ago for about $175. It functioned well and was fun to shoot. I traded it because I had 380 and 9mm pistols the same size or smaller for cc.
Having said that the size of the gun just about eliminated felt recoil. it felt like a 22. Don't get me wrong the gun is not overly large and I did pocket carry it around the house a few times.

If that were me, I would spend just a little more and get a .327 Taurus from CDNN. Being that you reload, she could shoot absolute powder puffs all the way up to some real man stoppers. They have quite a few different models for under $300. Some even have pink grips if that is her thing. I like the .327 because it allows the loads to grow as the shooter grows. They shoot .32, .32L, .32H&R, and .327 FedMag. For anyone who doesn't know, .327 FedMag's are very powerful.

Good luck.
