Has anyone had any luck smoothing up their Tore-Ass triggers? Around 1997 Taurus adevertised trigger jobs for around $65 and I sent mine to them; they installed Wolff springs and did the "trigger job", but it is still pretty stiff. The double action pull is very heavy and I would really like to work on that. I have had luck polishing parts and bearing surfaces on the frames of several other pistols & revolvers, but have never disassembled this one. I started shooting it more recently and would like to improve it if not a major undertaking. I don't mess with sears and hammer notches (beyond gentle polishing with rouge), but other than that I am a Dremel and hard Arkansas stone superuser...
