Taurus PT 940 .40: Lighten DA Trigger with "D" Spring???

I've had several Taurus and Beretta pistols (92, 99, PX4, etc.) and the cheap trick to lighten the DA pull is to install the proper size D (hammer) spring.

Wondering if that trick will work on the Taurus PT940?

The trigger is pretty nice as is, 9lbs in DA and 4 in SA. Doesn't really "need" it, and I shoot it well enouigh, but I'm curious if anyone has tried it or knows if it will work. (Or maybe just intalling a ligther hammer spring??)

They're cheap enough that I'd try it without question. I installed a D spring in my 92fs and it's great.
