I thought "compound" was mostly an adjective, and a verb only at law, and a noun only in chemistry.
Those folks are living in a simplex, IMHO.
Those folks are living in a simplex, IMHO.
Everyone knows that if they go in that house the browns will be killed.
It is going to Be very sad if the Browns are murdered by the Feds for not paying income tax.
They would only be killed if they offered armed resistance to the US Marshals. They would not be killed for not paying their taxes. That notion is ridiculous.
Jussssst pay the preciousssssss taxesssssss.
Taxesssssss are goooooooood.
I admire their principled stand.
They're probably gonna die for it.
It sucks to be them.
I'm just not that brave.
Neither are millions of other Americans who loathe and despise the train wreck that is our tax system, and the dishonesty with which is it administered.
So, since we're not brave, and they're taking a principled stand that will probably kill them, and since there are lots of us and only a few of them, and we don't want to feel like a bunch of cowards: these guys must be crazy.
Yeah. That way we don't have to think of them as brave.
And we don't have to be cowards.
Sometimes I hate it that I don't have a spine.
So if you pay sales tax but not income tax you're not a tax dodger? The evidence seemed to be enough to convince a jury. Tell me about how he was railroaded and what exactly railroaded even means here. I'm open to hearing facts. The browns had no gripe over paying any other taxes, so they are not tax dodgers like this article says. He stopped going to court because he was being railroaded.
Maybe some would argue? That is exactly what is happening. So if you dont pay income tax you die? Maybe some my argue that if you dont pay income tax you go to jail and the fed are only trying to put them in jail. Everyone knows that if they go in that house the browns will be killed.
If you break the law and are convicted and sentenced to jail and you try to kill the people that come to put you in jail they will defend their lives. What is screwed up? Making people who don't want to go to jail serve their sentence? Allowing those that enforce our laws to defend their lives? Should we just start jailing people who really are okay with it? If you don't want to go or don't think its right thats fine.So if you dont pay income tax you die.
Pretty screwed up if you ask me.
Whats brave or admirable about resorting to violence because you don't get your way in a fair system? The system is fair and works, it decided they do in fact owe taxes. Pay up or work to change the system. Why would you admire someone willing to kill a person enforcing the laws and rules of the country? I don't think drugs should be against the law, but I'm sure not going to cheer someone for shooting a cop trying to arrest them. Society doesn't agree with me, I have a fair chance to change it but I'm not going to get my way with everything. So, since we're not brave, and they're taking a principled stand that will probably kill them, and since there are lots of us and only a few of them, and we don't want to feel like a bunch of cowards: these guys must be crazy.
Yeah. That way we don't have to think of them as brave.
What is ridiculous is how many of you say "Live Free or Die" but dont seem to mean it.
You are the same people that would gladly hand over your firearms.
In case you want to capture that update.. . . and since there are lots of us and only a few of them, . . .
Whats brave or admirable about resorting to violence because you don't get your way in a fair system?
No one yet but everything I've read says the browns plan is to resort to violence if an attempt is made to make them serve their sentence.Who is resorting to violence?
Ed Brown warned authorities they wouldn't take him alive: "We either walk out of here free or we die."
All I can do is ask. I've found pages and pages talking about the zionist conspiracy, and free masons, and take overs of the US and the world. I've found his court docket that has all the information on the fair trial by jury they had but didn't show up for. I've found how his wife was let out on bail and cut her ankle bracelet. So yeah I've googled and I'm convinced they're nuttier than I originally thought. If you actually have some real solid facts that relate to them not getting a fair trial, I would love to see it and I think it would really further this thread. If you're going to make the claim, stand behind it and show the supporting evidence.Everything else you said asking me to elaborate on how Ed Brown was being railroaded... You can find that for yourself. The information is only a google away. This story although being ignored by the mainstream media, it is huge. Plenty of information out there. It is up to you to research things that effect you.
Read a bio by an agent who left the IRS over this.. . . the Sixteenth is also the rule of the land . . .
The current tax code, its implementation, and its administration constitute a "fair system" in your eyes?because you don't get your way in a fair system
No I'm not refering to the tax code, I'm refering to our legislative and judicial systems. We have fair elections to determine who makes laws, we have the judicial system to determine if the laws are just, and to give people fair trials. You might not like the tax system but it was put into place by fairly elected representatives, has been judged as proper and acceptable by the courts, and the browns had a fair trial. They had opportunity to work within the system to fight to change the laws, but instead are upset because they are being punished for violating laws they didn't like. When you can't get a fair trial or aren't getting fair representation then you start to work outside the system. This is more like acting like spoiled children because you didn't get your way.he current tax code, its implementation, and its administration constitute a "fair system" in your eyes?
I pay because I'm gutless, not because it's right.
I suspect there are other people that will insist on being 1st in line for the money, but the browns have been shown the law and have just decided they don't like it. I'd probably start here http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/html/uscode26/usc_sec_26_00000001----000-.html and then point to the 16th amendment but they'd just say that they don't think the 16th amendment was properly ratified. The courts have determined it is. I can show you a dollar but if you insist it isn't a dollar what more can I do?Then you guys are all going to be rich!
"Show Ed the Law and get $1,000,000 in commercial property!"

It was a condition of her bail and being out of jail. Now she goes back to jail. Do you think its right she shoots the people that come to make her go to jail when she had a fair trial by jury and was properly convicted of breaking the law?The woman cut her ankle bracelet off to go be with her husband, what a freaking nutcase.
Brave is putting up with something you don't like and changing things the right way, not threatening to kill people because you didn't get your way and decided you weren't going to obey the law anymore. I fail to see how this is any different than cheering for a drug dealer who says he won't be taken alive. It is hard to admit that this guy is braver than most of us. That is really all there is to it.
Well put if you are a crown loyalist in 1775.Brave is putting up with something you don't like and changing things the right way, not threatening to kill people because you didn't get your way and decided you weren't going to obey the law anymore.
OK, that works, freaks. Besides, if you people don't pay your taxes, where are we gonna get the money to keep throwing our troops into that meat grinder in Iraq?Ed Brown warned authorities they wouldn't take him alive: "We either walk out of here free or we die."
Texas said:Nope.Brown says they cant show them the law that says they have to pay taxes. Does he have any valid point?-
The Sixteenth Amendment:
The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.
What injustices? That he doesn't like that he has to pay taxes? Your talk about the revolution makes me think you just admire anyone willing to fight authority and the validity of their complaint is irrelevant. The colonies had a genuine beef with the english empire because they didn't have the system of government that we have today. The colonists fought to give him that system, and its still in place today. He didn't get his way in the system, but that doesn't mean it wasn't fair. Can you point out the injustice or why you think its at all fair to compare him to the patriots of the revolution?Well put if you are a crown loyalist in 1775.
When a string of injustices becomes too much to withstand anymore a truly brave man will spit on his hands and hoist the black flag.
I guess I fail to see your connect. We elect successful men to office. This really isn't all that shocking. People who become politicans like attorneys usually have made money in their careers. The man who goes to office with no money is going to less susceptible to the bribes of lobbies and special interest groups than the man who is already made for life? Personally I'm not trusting the rich man or the poor man. I still don't see how that means the system is unfair. The elections may be fair, but have you considered the process through which the candidates are selected. My evidence: Our last president who was not a millionaire at the time of his election: Dwight D. Eisenhower. Do your own research into the percentage of legislators who are multimillionaires- truly rich, and consider whoose interest they are likely to have in mind.
Actually it's worth about 6cents.I can show you a dollar but if you insist it isn't a dollar what more can I do?
