I was looking to put a sling on my shotgun, just wondering if anyone else has done this and how.

I have a shotgun sling on my 336, but it's not with me right now. It's a leather sling that laces seeping the butt and there's a choker around the barrel. My grandpa put that on there decades ago and it has worked well for lots of folks who have used the gun over the years. I suspect it would work as well for something it's actually designed for.

use a Thompson Center #9720 sling swivel kit. If it is no longer made, it should be available on eBay.

Yep, I put one on both T/Cs I have. My New Englander is a .54. I bought a new set last year but I forget where I got it.
