I showed a friend from work how to shoot recently. It went great, she was a natural and she listened to everything I told her. Overall, it was a great experience. Now a few other folks from work (women) have asked me to show/teach them too (since they heard how great their friend's experience was). Now, I'm all for introducing them to firearms BUT I'm a little nervous about my liability. I'm not a professional instructor, they are using my firearms, and if there is an accident for whatever reason I don't want to lose my house over it. Any thoughts/experiences on this topic would be appreciated.

Teach one at a time so that you're not distracted from keeping the shooter and the firearm under control OR arrange for the local range to teach a course just for the small group with you participating as a guest instructor. Their liability insurance should be able to be extended to cover you for bringing them the business.

Liability gets more attention if you are doing it as a business and charging for the service.......of course the old saying goes, a grand jury can bring charges against a ham sandwich.
