I despise the little flip up peep on the older Ranch Rifles. It is fine at the range, but anywhere else it seems to always be smacked down when you need it.

Anyone have experience with Tech Sites on the Ranch rifle?

Does the rifle need a new front sight or modification of the exsiting sight to zeron at 100 or 200 yards with the Tech Site rear?

I have Tech Sights on my Mini 30 which is a ranch rifle. They make them to work with the factory front sight. They are a big improvement.

The Tech-Sight is soooo much better than the original sight on the older ranch rifles. The newer rifles have a somewhat better sight from the factory, but the TS is still better IMO. The original sight is fragile, and needs a tiny screwdriver and hex key to make adjustments, you can adjust the Tech-sight with your fingers, or a bullet tip if it is still a little stiff.
