Tell me about Smith & Wesson's SW1911 Titanium Firing Pin (TFP)

Looks like Smith & Wesson has a new SW1911 with a titanium firing pin, no firing pin safety mechanism, and a black Melonite stainless steel frame and slide. SKU: 108309

No firing pin safety and Melonite are some nice upgrades.

Anyone play with one of these yet?

With a good firing pin spring, even the pre-Series-80 (original design) firing pin setup was not especially prone to drop firing. But extra insurance can't hurt. I assume the titanium will not be brittle and get broken from repeated blows.
