So then, here's the deal.

Very good condition.
Lots of magazines.
Can't tell whether or not it is a Police trade-in.
Price is essentially immaterial on this particular transaction.
What other guns may be better or worse is also immaterial to my looking at this one.

I'd really like input on this PARTICULAR pistol as regards being a true DAO auto.

I've never fired one of these but generally hear nice things about the trigger.

Has anyone had or does anyone yet have one and if so; how did/do you like or dislike it?

Todd.

I had one years ago. I’d like to have another. I currently own two 5946’s(slightly bigger than the 6946 but still a double stack) and a 3953, the single stack version of the 6946. Trigger is smooth, like a revolver. Only reason my Shield gets carried more is the weight. I prefer hammer fired guns, especially when I’m sticking one in my waistband. If the price is right I’d get it without hesitation.

Sadly, I was late to the auction and missed out on inspecting it prior to bidding.

Thanks for the input though.

Todd.

Profit. Plenty of mags? Have you seen what GEN III mags are selling for, lately ? If you don't keep it, you might double your money,
selling the extra mags, alone.
