Naifeh and his munchkins have got to go.

Not likely. This legislation was going to pass on for wider consideration, but one of the members that was for it, strangely enough, didn't show up that day for the vote. He happened to be in Mr. Naifeh's party. Even with a missing sympathizer the legislation had a majority of supporters, but Naifeh appeared, somehow as if he knew ahead of time that he would be needed, and his vote resulted in a tie. To pass out of the subcommittee there has to be a simple majority vote and thanks to the missing sympathizer and the magically appearing Naifeh that didn't happen.

How to get rid of Naifeh? Short of digging up some dirt on his wife's lobbying job or on Mr. Naifeh himself, the only way is to spend lots of money finding someone in his district that can beat him at the poles. When his own personal physician ran against him (which would make the wonder) Naifeh handily won reelection. I guess I need to redirect some of my "charitable" giving for the rest of the year to help Mr. Naifeh retire.
