More paranoid anti-gun opinions from my local university newspaper.
Luckily these are just opinions.
It's amazing how an institution of higher learning can instill values of oppressing freedoms. Young minds often corrupted by a majority of liberal professors. This seems to go against the imbedded culture associated with Texas in general. I believe that The Honorable Greg Abbott achieved a victory for all those who respect the Second Amendment of our Great Constitution. But again this is just my opinion. I only wish that both sides were represented in this editorial.

As a side note the comic associated with this article is indeed laughable.

Did you expect any less from liberal professors with tenure. At least here at Sam Houston State we eliminated tenure and therefore may not renew the contracts of those who preach against community values.

Good for you and Sam Houston State. As with having no term limits in Congress , tenure in colleges is the very devil.
Congratulations to Texans for the coming sensible gun laws.

Mike Faires Did you expect any less from liberal professors with tenure....
Rarely are faculty on "staff" at a college newspaper. Typically those are student positions and responsibilities.
In fact, faculty or campus administration editorial control is often seen as an intrusion on First Amendment rights.

You sure about that?:scrutiny:
A quick search shows several tenure track faculty positions at SHSU. Here's one:
