I was having some problems with a recently purchased Walther P22. A very simple suggestion from a fellow THR member helped me figure it out and now I have a sweet shootin' pistol.

The fix was simple, but having no experience with fixed-barrel pistols, I didn't even think about it.

Anyway, thanks for saving me the headache and discontent of purchasing a bad weapon (I can't remember the THR member - sorry).

I think this is what THR is all about. I know some threads degenerate into caliber/make/model wars, but this was some simple advice that really helped.

P.S. - Feel free to share stories if you've been helped...

P.S.S. - If you've got a finnicky P22, PM me and maybe I can help...

I joined this group for the exact same reason. All my google searches led me to the THR forums, all with the answer I needed. Rcmodel and Walkalong have been exceptionally helpful, although the entire community has really helped as a whole. This is definitely a place to hang my virtual hat. :)

+1

Thanks for all the informative posts. I think that I have learned more about guns on this website than all the gun magazines out there combined.

And its not just theoretical info. The things learned on this website can one day save a life. Thanks again. Special thanks to our moderators in the shotgun forum. I finally got that Remington 870....without the tacticool stuff.
Simple yet effective.

Special thanks to Jocko...for all the input regarding Kahr PM9 and Elsie Pea.

And add another to the count. Every time I try to research a gun, google brings me at least a few results from THR. That's the reason I joined, since I found the info on my 11-48 here. Then my second post got me a unanimous response of what sights to get for my .22.

Thanks to everyone for all the good advice.
