Courtland Milloy is actually hypocritical on the issue of guns. In August 2007 he wrote an column ironically titled "The Violence is Rooted in the Culture, Not the Gun Store." In the piece he fondly talks about the 22 caliber rifle he currently owns and shooting as a child with this Dad. He then goes on to say he goes to Realco Guns in Maryland which was recently picketed by anti-gun groups for being the source of the largest number of guns seized at crime scenes in D.C. Odd bed fellows indeed.
