Is your DPMS the same model listed in The Chart? If so and if DPMS definitely has made an upgrade you should report this as Rob_S does try to keep the chart data updated.

Yeah, it's an AP4.

It also has m4 feedramps cut into the upper recieved and a properly staked gas key. I purchased it in 2007. I've posted pics somewhere around here.

Yeah Azziza I posted this just to piss YOU off. Actually that's not true. I was unaware that stating a fact about an inaccuracy in the chart would "stir things up". Grow up, dude.

Ok everyone, I did some research and I think I know azizza's problem: he is one of those Colt fanboys who loves to trash every other brand. No, DPMS isn't the best and I'm actually in the process of saving up for a BCM CHF Reese upper, but they work excellently for my intended purpose. I have a host of worthy pistols that I prefer for self defense in a suburban area, so I don't have to stake my life on my DPMS. That isn't to say I wouldn't trust my Ap4. It's not like in a self defense situation you're going to run 1000 rounds through it in ten minutes. You'll fire one mag MAX. I keep it lubed with mobil 1 and it's ready to rock if it ever ready came down to it. I was just pointing out that the chart has some inaccuracies. I think my USP tactical is the pinnacle of polymer pistols but I don't chime in on every m&p or glock thread and talk about how they are inferior. I will be ignoring you elitist comments from now on. Hate on, hater

How would you get that from your research? My dealings with Azizza seem to show a pro BCM mentality. I don't think his post warranted your response. I know what Azziza was talking about, all the time people post how their DelTon, Model 1 or other AR is just as good as an LMT, LWRC, or Colt.

"The Chart" is a fine piece of work on M4s. It is not a useful tool or intended to be for AR15s other than M4 variants.

The M4 problem is that not all manufacturers always ship all their guns the same way all the time. They have supply and vendor issues like everyone else. Each company does it. I have a Colt M4 that has variances from the chart as well.

(Btw, it's the insert that's blue. I think all the springs are usually black.)
