Does anybody carry a big N frame for their daily carry?
I've carried my model 29-2 and my model 624 occasionally. Both 4in bbls. I run into the problem that it's hard to not have them print. Carrying them isn't a huge ordeal for me. You definitely can feel the weight after full day though.

I've had various 4" and 5" N frames on my permit, and have carried them on occasion. Open carry, or OWB carry under a coat, are OK, but in my warm-weather part of the world, I generally need to carry IWB for true concealment. N frames are just too big and bulky to be really comfortable, especially as I age, so I've given up on the practice. I really don't even like K frames IWB any more...

I wear a baggie shirts. Usually a size larger but again moving around with that big grip on these guns is fairly identifiable if you're looking for it or if you happen to see it. I get people are blind today to stuff like that unless your gun nuts always being aware of your surroundings.
And like I said I don't do it all the time just every once in awhile and it's usually fall or winter

I carried a 3" N frame .44 as a ccw once.
At the end of the day my reasoning for carrying it didn't pan out in reality and I just felt like a fool.
why would you feel like a fool? I carry 2 guns all the time when I’m driving Uber at night. one pocket rocket & I left side waist revolver.

I also carried a .460 in Yellowstone for a few week. Nobody will judge you

I carried a .44 in Yellowstone too and thought nothing of it. But the OP is speaking in terms of a daily CCW, at least how I read it.

I felt like a fool because I gave myself a backache for no reason other than to limit my capacity and increasing my risk of causing collateral damage.
There was no logic behind it, just that I thought it would be "cool".

Had a really bad couple of weeks at a security job in college that I carried my 6" mod 29 in a shoulder holster. Got shot at and didn't want to advertise I was packing, so I wore it under my jacket. Luckily it was at night, so the jacket wasn't out of place, but that was the only way to hide it. Also tried the desert eagle for one day, but even the 29 felt light compared to that monster. Guns that large aren't compatible with day in day out carry, especially concealed.

this is why a Glock 19 is so popular

and hopefully carry this with a nice Leather holster for my Summer BBQ visit in North Carolina!
Where did you score those Ahrends grips - included with the gun? You do know that those are worth a lot of money these days, right? And, in my not so humble opinion, Kim Ahrends made some of the best revolver grips, ever.

I’ve been carrying my Trr8 a little bit. Need to take it out more. An unbuttoned button up shirt covers it. I’ve since taken off the ivories and they are for sale. Went back to stock hogues it came with

In the late 80s I was working in Houston on the set of Robo Cop 2 and the production company used off duty city cops for security. I got to be pretty good friends with one of them who was the quintessential, old school flat foot COP! Late 50s, 6'4", 250# who the prudent would not fool with. He carried a 6" N frame in 45 Colt. I asked him why such a heavy gun and he told me if you smack them or shoot them with it, they just go down.

To me he was easy going and pretty funny.
