mouse guns !

Yup there they are ! You know, when you posted that one on the top, at that time then,I was making the trigger for mine.I really like the ones that are made from scratch like that. And the one on the bottom ,that kinda looks like a Rider Derringer! I like how these lil guns look sooo innocent and all until ya pull the trigger  So cool :D Im trying to post a picture of mine. I'm not exactly mr. pc here so,but I'll give it a go here . -ron-

Ron, when I built that little one on the bottom I based it off the Remington Ryder. It's a pretty effective little break action single shot, I like to keep it in my truck for shootin' stuff. I also keep a pack of toy caps and a tube of Daisy BB's, as well as a few Q-tips to clean it with. :D

Try uploading it to photobucket then posting the IMG code, that might be easier.

Yeah those two are cool. When I first saw that one, I thought it was the Rem -Ryder pistol at first ! Yeah I use the daisy bb's for mine too. I put (about) 5-6 grains bp, and a few bb's. it's fun to shoot.I might have to take it out squirrel hunting soon ! It only has a 5" bbl but Iv'e shot targets at 20-25 yards so it should do good.I even a mold for a 40 grain and a 45 grain bullet. Just alot fun to play around with !

Raa-7, are you talking these little BB shooters?

I still love to play with these. You can shoot BB's with caps, or a pinch of birdshot! ;)
I still have to put sights on mine yet but I will soon.I have so much fun shooting it I just point n shoot :p but with bb's you can.

I hope it works this time..My home made black powder pistol. It shoots lead shot pretty well and also a .25 cal 40 or 45 grain bullet from a mold I made for it.It's a smooth bore but the barrel is 5" so it's good for close range. It takes 6 grains bp and a cap. 100_0782.jpg Is it too late to join the mouse gun club? I have alot of picture postin to do :p -ron-

It actually has pre and over travel adjustments on it too... Like it's a precision target pistol :p :D :p

rodwha - 'bout 10 grains, haven't tried any other loads in it, it bucks a little bit.
Fingers - all made by ASM, middle - date code XXV (1969), bottom - date code AD (1978)
here's a ASM 3rd model dragoon for comparison (note that the dragoon has a long range sight but no cutout for the shoulder stock)

kbob - the barrel on the derringer was originally octagon in shape but in my youth decided that round was more to my liking...here's a pic I found on the net as to what the kit looked like.

Way cool. Now I have some other variations to be on the lookout for to add to my collection.

I've got one of the Dragoons with leaf sights; but it's cut for the shoulder stock & I have the stock that goes with it.

ASM made some pretty nice variations back then.

That is really cool, excellent job on that pistol. Now you just gotta install some sights on it.
May I make a suggestion?
Levi, how did you go about putting the sights on your two shooters? I really need to put them on mine. What do you suggest ? -ron-

My nw mouse gun display. The teeny one is a 2mm pin fire ( my very 1st gun some 50+ years ago), and the larger is a Manhattan "Hero" in 36 cal.

Someone gave me a pair of those tiny pinfires. I didn't realize they actually fired a projectile. I thought they were toys.

Ahh, man, I remember reading this thread about 5 years ago, and resisting buying a new mouse gun...Gotta root around for my old .44 Manhattan style single shot to post a pic. Great posts, everyone!

Those aren't mine, I was just borrowing the picture. They belong to sltm1 who posted that pic previously in this thread.
