I watched The Cowboys tonight, with my 13 year old Grandson. He got right into it. There is still hope for the future. Tomorrow night he wants to watch True Grit. His birthday is coming, now he wants a S.A.
AWRIGHT!!
Consider yourself a very lucky person.Take him shooting OFTEN,and by all means get him a sixgun.....under your lock and key of course.
Take him to a cowboy shoot and he'll be a heck raisin' cowboy shooter fer sure.
Yeah, Grammy is taking him home now. While he was here all he talked about was getting some milsurp for the '06 we got him for Christmas. I found some made by PMC, 400 rds. for $85.00. How does that sound, decent?
He was telling me about his friends saying it was too much for a 14 year old. He just smiles because he shoots my old M-99 .308 just fine
He shoots my .357 Blackhawk with .38s, I think that's what his birthday present will be. Thanks for listening to proud Grandpa...
He started on the Ruger the summer before last with wadcutters. He's a big kid, tall as I am and 10-15 pounds heavier. We hadn't done much shooting together until then. His parents split when he was born and he got shuffled around, now he's with his Dad who doesn't shoot for the fun of it. Alan is like me when I was his age, and my Dad before me. A day without shooting is like a day without sunshine.
