I just picked up a CZ Czechmate, and it is incredible! I have a few Dan Wessons, but this is my first CZ.

Trying to put a 16lb spring in my CZ85B, and cannot get it to compress in a straight line over the spring guide. Should I cut a couple of loops off?

14lb spring is standard and works fine.

Bumping this with a relevant question - anyone with a fixed sight SP-01 Shadow, what's the best way of adjusting the rear sight? My gun shoots about half an inch to the right at 10m.

High Pockets, call 1-800-955-4486, press two for parts and ask for Adam on that one.
Blackstone, does your rear sight have a locking screw in it? If it does, you'll need to loosen/remove it, (ignore if no screw), and tap the rear sight GENTLY with a brass punch and light hammer with the slide in a padded vise the opposite direction of which way you want the groups to move. Even better to ask a gunsmith to do it.

I'm up for anything Česká zbrojovka!

My pistol collection (so far) includes -

vz.50
vz.52
vz.70
vz.82 (2)

Mají velký den ČZ :D!

Signing up for the club!

Can't believe I missed this thread up until now! I have four CZ's (if you count the Kadet adapter, not pictured.) The P-01 is also wearing Lasergrips now.

Picked up a used CZ100 at the Miami gun show last weekend for $250. Has some holster wear but the insides - rails, barrel, are in perfect condition. Took it to the range after the gun show and it shoots great. No issues at all.....except for that loooooong....trigger pull. Lol..but i am liking this one.

Late to the party again

Last October I put some night sights on my PCR.

( I'm a better shot with a gun than a camera.)

They are for the P-01 but fit and shoot to point of aim perfectly. Because the slide is inletted for the original "snag-free" sights, there is a "step" or "shelf" ahead of the rear sight now. This is not a problem.

Cajun Gun Works did the installation. I just mailed them the slide. The total cost was $111 and the turnaround (including the mail both ways) was ~10 days.
