The 1st time was when I spotted a 1972 Ruger Security Six in almost NIB Mint condition at my local gun shop. Got it for $239.

I was on a local gun forum & posted that my next gun purchase was going to be a Stoeger Cougar 8045. I received a PM from one of the posters that he had just traded in one at a local shop. Drove up to the shop immediately & there it was , still available. Picked it up for $269. Gun was less than 3 months old & in mint condition. My 1st .45 caliber handgun.

Took it to the range yesterday & ran 150 flawless rds through it. Not much more recoil than my 9MM 8000. I also was pleasantly surprised at how accurate I was with it, being this is the 1st time Ive ever shot a 45. Beretta did an excellent job designing the Cougar series.

Thanks Gun Gods!
