The jobs of THR

I'm an “Industrial Electronics Controls Mechanic” for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs. (In civilian speak that translates to industrial electrical and instrumentation repair.)
 
I'm an Account Executive for a Healthcare IT conference. When big health IT companies want to sponsor the event, they call me.
 
I'm a SSgt, Jar Head, I'm with a little known "high speed, low drag, We turn good ammo into spent caseings" type unit under I-MEF. I'd like to go back to the Engineer Battalion and build/blow things up... but for now I'm holding a O369 Billet and haveing a blast doing it, even if I have to work on Sundays.

Present: IT Manager, working on MBA

Future: I'd like to write books
 
database developer / computer programmer / business analyst.
spent more time in college fantasizing about making a better bullet/firearm, got out of college and started reloading....now I spend my fun filled days in IT visiting places like THR and fantasizing about...you guessed it...making a better bullet/firearm.
 
Haven't seen one of these mentioned...

Book and document conservator in private practice. Also, full-time care provider for relative with Alzheimer's. And as you'll note in my .sig, something of a writer...

Business Owner

For the last 20 years I have owned a Security Patrol Company. Before that I worked for Brinks for 15 years. (I was the guy they threw out of the back of the truck to see if I could get back.) I also volunteered as a Search and Rescue Deputy for five years.

(Boy that was a long read. It took me just over two days to get through the thread. We are really a diverse group. I have read a lot of what everyone has written over the years and it was nice to finally get to know you all little better.)
