This just back from Ned Christiansen. A Kimber Compact (series 1) went in and this little monster (ok, beauty) came out.

Wish I could take better pics...

put at the beginning of the url, and at the end, but remove the spaces.

You mean like this:

attachment.php

You need to follow the link to your jpeg, then cut and paste the http//www.thehighroad.org/.... that delivers the jpeg.

Then EDIT your post and use the IMG button to get the URL dialog box into which you paste the location your jpeg was saved to.

Hope this helps.

Very nice. Is there a website where i can check out some of Ned's work?

Oh. I thought you meant "Little Ned" from the Three Amigos. Nice .45, though.

Ned does some beautiful and very functional work... He's probably my favorite.

LOVED that Gold Cup Commander he did some time back!

Where can I get grips like that? Ive seen them before (Kimbers SOCOM 45' in American Rifleman) and thought they might be a nice addition to my Tac Pro 2, are they rough? or rubber like?

Also, just need the plates not wrap around like thouse appear to be, front is already checkered

Can you post some more pics...close-ups, actually...of the conamyds? I'm trying to decide whether I want them on a hi-power or not and I need to convince myself one way or another...

:uhoh:

Brian- Thanks for posting a close up!

Harold- This is my second "Ned Gun". First is a full size 1911 with Conamyds. I've had it for a little over 2 years. Absolutely love and highly recommend it as front strap texture.

MJS408- Grips are Simonich "Gunner Grips". They are hard and "pointy" not soft and gushy. You can lightly sand down the points for a softer, less aggressive feel.

Nice,

Now, for that trigger, don't look right on a 1911, get it (and I'm going to misspell this) skeletonized. Those full triggers don't look right to me :D.
