Where can I get grips like that? Ive seen them before (Kimbers SOCOM 45' in American Rifleman) and thought they might be a nice addition to my Tac Pro 2, are they rough? or rubber like?
Also, just need the plates not wrap around like thouse appear to be, front is already checkered
Can you post some more pics...close-ups, actually...of the conamyds? I'm trying to decide whether I want them on a hi-power or not and I need to convince myself one way or another...
Harold- This is my second "Ned Gun". First is a full size 1911 with Conamyds. I've had it for a little over 2 years. Absolutely love and highly recommend it as front strap texture.
MJS408- Grips are Simonich "Gunner Grips". They are hard and "pointy" not soft and gushy. You can lightly sand down the points for a softer, less aggressive feel.
