Glenn Beck focused on something today of particular relevance to this forum's audience. (Now, like him or hate him, that's not really the point.)
The terrorists want to strike us again and in a big way. I'd think most folks can agree on that. What is possible to happen is another Patriot Act, one that sharply curtails gun ownership--it happened with alarming speed in England and Australia. Even with a hurricane, a lot of dirtbags behind the badge and flag followed orders and siezed lawfully owned firearms (Not a bashing thread to ALL, far from it--but those that turned their back on what was right are dirtbags in my opinion).
My question is how to get in front of this prior to the next big incident to prevent a congressional lynch mob? (Well, other than voting for Ron Paul).
One of the things I'm trying to do is the basics--getting more folks out shooting that have never seen/held/fired a gun. I'm also working on options for hunting opportunities, but man, that's limited. I'm working on the company HQ for less restrictions on legal carry on the workplace.
Anyone else thinking that this could be a big issue, or is it chicken little?
