according to www.imfdb.org/index.php/Knowing its a Smith & Wesson Model 624 "Lew Horton Special" I havnt seen the movie so I cant confirm or deny this.

It's just like this gun, but with a slightly more tapered barrel. This is the Lew Horton 629, which is the same as the 624 in most all features except it's .44 magnum and with a slightly thicker barrel.

STUPID MOVIE.

Don't know which was worse, this one or "Premonition"...........or "Bangkok Dangerous." Nick Cage has two strikes in a row here...

Yeah, the gun was cool, but I don't recall it being a factor at all. I think they threw it in there so they could show it during the previews to make you think it was going to be a better movie.
