And, most importantly, to an anti-firearms NeoLib Progressive, there is no such thing as an "unreasonable" restriction on firearms owned by the serfs and worker peasant rabble.

I presume you have evidence that would enable you to characterize her as such. I assure you that the Democrats do not think she is anything like that.

You know, it's OK that you have an opinion, and you are free to express it. It's not my place to censor you. But this place looks and feels more and more like the Free Republic boards every day, and there's no reason for that given the "high road" nature of these forums.

The bottom line is this: the Democrats are in charge, and given that Kagan is as good a pick as any gun owner had any right to expect under the circumstances, insults notwithstanding.

If anyone is expecting a truly pro-gun SCOTUS nominee from this administration, they are dreaming. The best we can hope for is that they are not a rabid anti-gun crusader whose whole life revolves around "cleansing society of evil guns". Hopefully, as far as the 2nd is concerned, Obama's choices won't change much... old anti's being replaced by new anti's. Pray that none of the pro-gun justices fall ill while the legislature and administration is still in the hands of the anti's.
