With all the changes going on politically across the country, I figure it would be good to take a look at where things are headed. Here's a news article from a date not very far in the future...

WMD Arsenal, militant youth training camp discovered at extremist compound

Saturday, May 9, 2009

The quiet town of Elmville, Kentucky received a shock on Saturday evening: there have been extremists working unnoticed in the town of 23,000, even training children to be hateful militants.

Following a call to the Horton County Sheriff’s office concerning “strange behavior” at the Clark compound on E. 43rd Street, deputies arrived at the scene and were “flabbergasted” by what they found.

“Man, it was, like, unreal,” recounted Deputy Howe Tugecha. “I mean, we were expecting to find extremists, having gotten the call about the kid singing the song and everything, but we sure weren’t expecting this.”

Added Tugecha: “Come on, do you really need a box and a half of ammo for a .380? Just insane.”

Horton County deputies, along with federal agents representing the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms--who were immediately called to assist after the deputies arrived--uncovered a cache of weapons, ammunition, militant utility devices, and even a child apparently training to become a future militant, at Mike Clark’s compound.

“Along with the Bersa (a large-caliber .380 high-capacity assault handgun), we found a 12-gauge shotgun (a military-style Mossberg WMD known as the “Ulti-Mag Tactical Turkey"), and about thirty rounds for each weapon. We also found a military edged weapon manufactured in Switzerland. Obviously, we knew right away that we were dealing with militants of the extremist sort, as no normal civilians would be storing this kind of doomsday arsenal,” said Special Agent in Charge Jack Butedthuge.

Investigations are ongoing as to whether Clark was holding the other two people present--his wife Karen and son Joshua--hostage on the premises. Though he was not currently armed at the time law enforcement personnel arrived, he kept the arsenal within easy reach, and could have intimidated the others into remaining at the crime scene with him, authorities confirmed.

“Believe me, we hear an awful lot of ‘locked gun safe’ stories, but the truth is, they can have those things out and loaded with the trigger locks off in less than five minutes,” Butedthuge warned.

Joshua Clark, only ten years old, was also found to have been in possession of a realistic-looking water pistol, and was recklessly brandishing it about the compound.

“When that little (Clark’s son) came around the corner waving the Squirtmaster, I had to admit it blew our minds. Of course we sent him to counseling immediately afterwards--if he gets a healthy dose of Ritalin in time, it may just cure the testosterone imbalance he clearly has,” reported Butedthuge. “This poor uh, child--being subjected to lookalike gun handling in such an unsafe environment has to have been devastating to his young mind. Who knows how he could have ended up had we not gotten there in time--the bas--er, boy could be dead, or worse, like one of those Richards (boys) we found reading the US Constitution (a subversive document on the government Terror Watch List) in their teens. You can imagine how twisted those ones were.”

Karen Clark was taken to the New World Mental Care Facility. She had been so traumatized by the experience that she was constantly screaming obscenities at the law enforcement officers. It is believed that she was rescued in time, although lack of gratitude for agents’ intervention in such cases is a common indicator of more serious emotional strain.

Neighbor Barbara Bashiepe made what turned out to be the possibly life-saving call to the Sheriff’s office, after hearing Joshua Clark chanting a cultish dirge about a “fair lady” and the London Bridge falling down—a well-known call-to-arms for anti-Western terrorists. “I knew they were odd over there,” she recalled of the incident. “But when Billy and I heard that (boy) making all that racket, it was definitely time to call 911. Good thing we did, too—I hope they put that crazy (Clark) away for good!”

“And that (boy) needs some sensitivity classes pronto,” she added. “Maybe even a timeout!” Following her extreme statement, Mrs. Bashiepe was escorted to the New World Mental Care Facility for a full psychiatric evaluation.

For unknown reasons, a second neighbor had a different opinion. “For crying out loud, they’re just a normal family! What is wrong with you people? What is the big deal about having a couple guns in the house for protection?” asked a deranged neighbor from across the street, Mike Odwai. He was unavailable for further comment, as authorities took him into custody for questioning regarding the arsenal, and any possible connection he may have had to the extremist group. Pending the outcome of the investigation, he may be released from police custody as early as 2024, though police watchdog organizations like Democrats for the New Social Way are calling for automatic life imprisonment with no chance for parole.

Investigations of the other 15 potential compounds on the block are also ongoing. “You never can tell sometimes, but let’s hope we find everyone responsible for compiling this cache of weapons of mass destruction and bring them to justice,” said Tugecha.

Phetro, outstanding article!! Did you write it?

BTW, "Saturday, May 9, 2009," that's just a few months after the inauguration of Hillary Rodham Clinton, as President For Life," isn't it??

L.W.

all this because the GOP chose to ignore it's base and to instead listen to it's special interest groups campaign contributions.

Why, thanks! I did write it, based on components from several of those type of media stories, and with a little New Worldism thrown in...let's hope it's far from the real future!

:D May 9 just seemed so good, being on a weekend and close to three years from now--I sure hope Hitlery doesn't win the election (and don't think she will), but if so, we're in trouble.

Hillary Clinton will not even get past the primaries. Even she knows that. The American public may not be ready for a female president yet.
Although when they are, Condoleeza Rice will be an excellent candidate. She represents nearly all minority groups. Female, African-American and Lesbian. She would be well advised to run in 2008.

Where do you get that she is a Lesbian? I am pretty sure she is happily married to a man. I personally, would not vote for anyone that is part of the current adminstration.

About the original post. You don't have to wait untill 2009 to read articles like this, they already are already being written.

Bah. HC doesn't make me worried. HC is 90% talk and 10% wasted effort. RUDOLF scares me a lot more. He's actually banned firearms and has field experience setting up armed attack squads who are empowered grab or even kill anyone they suspect of carrying a firearm. He's the ultimate nightmare, far worse than either Clinton. I'll die before I see this nation run like New York City. Hillary is a windbag who wants power. She'll change her stripes as needed to acquire it, just like her husband.

Where do you get that she is a Lesbian?

She's widely regarded in DC circles and amongst her old Stanford friends as a closet lesbian.
I have provided the link for 'Condoleeza Rice Lesbian' off Google. Try reading a few of the results, there is no absolute proof and there won't be until she 'comes out' but she should capitalise on it in my opinion, imagine a lesbian President?
Now that's really futuristic.

A word to the wise. Don't believe everything you read on the internet. If she is a lesbian all the more power to her, but internet blogs are not proof of anything.

Agreed, I did state 'there is no absolute proof', but it is a widely held notion and thus has entered into popular belief, one that I subscribe to.
Why else would she have such incredulous hair?

...and why should I care?

The only 'group' that a prospective U.S. President should represent is U.S. citizens. On that note, I'd vote for Condi in a heartbeat.:)

Fletchette, I have no idea why you should care, or why you ask me that.
I was answering someone else.
Ms. Rice would make a good President, I agree. I only mentioned her sexuality in regard to her being able to gain more minority votes than Hillary Clinton.

If the American public is unwilling to accept a woman in 08, why would Condi be well advised to run?

For starters, America COULD accept a woman. She just would have to be someone other than HRC. However, I expect she will come from the left side. Not becuase they are more eligible, but there are fewer crazed feminists on the right. Condi doesn't want it, lacks the political smoothness, and won't be running. Drop the hope for her, she won't put on the shoes and run. Other people have already smacked around your fallacious lesbian assertion.

Somekid.

The American public may not be ready for a female president yet.
Although when they are, Condoleeza Rice will be an excellent candidate.

I think you read my post a little too fast. I used deliberately ambiguous language.

I saw the ambiguous wording, but you missed the point of my post that was critical of yours.

On the one hand, you say the American people may not be ready yet, but then, two sentences later, say Condi would be well advised to run. Which is it?

She is well advised to run.
The American public may not be ready but with her extra vote catching minority appeal she could swing it.

Save the 'fallacious' comment for when we truely know the facts on this matter, I don't mind being wrong but presently neither of us know for sure.

If she is a lesbian, or bisexual then I understand why she will not seek the Republican nomination. If she did then it more than likley her lesbianism would come out during the election from a smear site. I believe many conservatives and some moderates would disown her even if there is no proof.

RN, blacks won't vote for her just because she is black to. Blacks are chained to the Democratic party. It will be generations before they ever see what is going on. As I recall, they are about 9:1 against GOP. Women might come over for her a bit more, but ardent feminists (and those under their sway) will not. Keep in mind, left-wing women sold out all the women Billy abused. The good news, is that women as a block are less likely to just rampantly throw it all in on one side, though they lean a bit left. There is a decent chance Condi could sway more to her. Even if she were homosexual, she would not be guarunteed that voting bloc. I believe they went for Kerry to the tune of 3:1.

Also, your assertion was fallcious. Calling Condi a lesbian (unless there is something I do not know) is both a fallacy, and a misleading comment regarding who Condi is. In the future, if the language barrier arises for you, websters will help. Your assumption that Condi is a lesbian is fallacious.

I knew the word fallacious already thanks.
We have a mini history of not agreeing on things Somekid, I do remember when you got just a little agitated with me on a lobbyist thread a few weeks ago. Keep calm and practise breathing.

Ready For?

I don't understand the language "ready for" a woman president. Is having a woman president better than having a man--something toward which our nation is supposed to be aspiring, and thus what is being gauged is our "readiness?"

It seems the social engineers are at it once again--this has been decided as something that is "good" for us, therefore we must strive to be "ready" to accept it.
