The Next Gun I Want to Buy Is...., Because....?

A .357 lever gun (stainless) to match my NMBH ss. Probably a Rossi because of affordability, but I need to be able to find one in a shop that looks good.

Like to be able to load one caliber for a rifle-revolver range day. Also think it would be a nice rifle for my kid to shoot, moving up from the 22.

Having a hard time justifying the expense right now, and I'm not a rich man.

Glock 19

...because I am moving to a state that lets me CCW, in less than 12 hours I will be on the road. PRAISE THE LORD!

...because it just wasn't worth it to me to buy a centerfire pistol while I lived in Jersey.

357 Revolver

Don't have a revolver in my arsenal. I like the reliability and build quality.

Had a Ruger GP100 and sold it. Only gun I regret selling.

I have no use for a large revolver at all.

Seriously, none whatsoever.

I have a nice .45 caliber 1911, and several other pistols to play with. I don't need another pistol at all.

But for reasons unclear, I want a big revolver.

Maybe a model 29? All Dirty Harry and traditional.

Or possibly a big Ruger? A Dan Wesson in .44 mag with a couple barrels?

I don't know.

The next gun show might be interesting. We'll see.

i have all of the above. i would like another ak so both me and my son have one. i would like more 22 revolvers, good ones not junk. they are hard to find at good prices.

other than that really nothing.

ATI Titan .45 Compact, NiB-X finish.

Ooh.. shiny, and you can't have too many 1911s. Also, ATI moved from New York to my home state to protest NY Safe Act...I want to show support.

I haven't bought it because all the rollmarks I have seen still say Rochester, NY. Waiting for Summerville, SC models to show up.

A hard chromed Colt Special Combat. I'm going to get it next year after Christmas, all $2,000 of it.

Oh, and a S&W 1917 reproduction without the lock. That's about $1,200.

I like Colt's history in America, and I already own a few other Colts that I want to leave to the kids, so this will be an addition.

I will shoot it, but I don't think I'll carry it. I prefer S&W stainless revolvers for CC and self protection.

A Colt New Frontier (3rd Generation) in .45 Colt
A Colt Single Action Army (1st Generation) in .45 Colt
A Colt Gold Cup
A Savage varmiter in .223

A Savage Model 99 in .300 Savage
A Savage Model 99 in .243 Win
A Savage Model 99 in .358 Win
A Winchester Model 70 in .375 H&H

Why don't I already have them? $$$$$$!!

Zastava M88a

Want is because it an old design (Tokarev) except chambered in 9mm, it is blue, and it's a single-stack, which I never owned other than a 1911 in .45.

Haven't bought it because I need some accessories more, and the Zastava would be just a range gun.

Likely a 9mm semi auto, probably a Walther PPQ. I have a .45 and a couple of rimfire pistols, but would like something in between that has more oomph than a .22 without the cost of the .45 to shoot. 9mm seems to fit that bill (and stores even have it!!).

Unless I happen to cross paths with one of the following sooner....
  • CZ 455 Varmint in .17hmr (100 yard accurate and cheap to shoot without much report)
  • M1A Loaded, wood stock, blued barrel (self explanatory)
  • 357 wheelgun (my only other revolver is a .22, so I need one, right?)
  • 77/357 (not sure I can explain.... just think they are cool for a range toy)
  • .22WMR Henry lever gun (need to fill the lever niche.... and the .22wmr is growing on me after having shot it out of the Single Six esp given the performance benefit out of a rifle)
  • .410 break open shot gun (extra challenge when shooting clays from a spring thrower, possibly squirrel hunting as well)
Why am I not buying the next one (or 3 or 5) now? Trying to exercise self control with a newborn on the way. Then again.... perhaps I could justify a congratulations present to myself.... he'll enjoy it with me, one day....

10/22 because I don't have one and I'm wanting to make it my gateway into the NFA world.

But realistically I need to figure out a carry pistol for the wife first.

I've been craving it for years. Once I start earning my stipend, I'll be saving up for a Blued S&W 29-2 with an 8 3/8 inch barrel ... as mint as I can find with a box. As to why? I honestly can't say.

I really don't have a clue. I might be out and about and stop at my local gun shop to see my friend. He may have taken in something that catches my eye and offers me a good deal on the gun. I buy it. I do tend to gravitate to older S&W as well as Colt revolvers and I also like the older Colt 1911 guns like the Series 70 guns including Gold Cup flavors. Rifles? I like the older well made Winchester ad Remington rifles in calibers ranging from 223 to 30-06. Hell, I can wake up on a Monday morning with no intention of buying a gun and Monday evening I am cleaning my new gun. Just a matter of if something trips my trigger I guess.

Next rifle: AK-47. Actually thinking about an AK pistol and SBRing it.
Next pistol: if not the AK to SBR, a RIA tactical 9mm 1911. Or is that considered a 2011?
Next, and perhaps only revolver: Ruger Blackhawk with 9mm conversion cylinder.
Next shotgun: Don't have a desire for another shotgun right now.

Let me be brief...

Mo' guns....and ammo...lots and lots of ammo.

Next question.

Maybe I have too many guns...., maybe not !

Which one do you "want" to buy ?

Why do you want it ?

Why haven't you already bought it ?:)
I found assault style SIG 551A1 at very good price and want to buy it because I may need it to defend myself. I do not like to shoot rifles, but feel bit under-guned with G20 and Wingmaster 870 Supermag. Do you think my concerns are justified?
