I'm patient for the most part, however, having said that though I did buy one box of CCI Mini-Mag for nearly 2x pricing. My excuse for that is that was I had a date I was bringing to the range that day and wanted to grab an extra box... >_>

I paid $44 for 1k small pistol primers.
Sadly, I'm afraid this may be the new norm here. Looks like getting with some fellow shooters and ordering bulk online may be in order, when they get some in stock that is.

Just before SH, I was pondering a DPMS in .243 , didn't find what I was looking for until a week after SHTF, so I paid $1400 for a NIB plain-Jane model

I paid $36 a box of 1000 for large and small rifle primers, (which now dosent seem THAT insane)

Bought 3-extra G21, 13-round mags for about $12 more than what they USED to sell for off the shelf

About a month ago I bought 3#'s of Varget @ $29 each , which does not seem so bad considering it cannot be found anywhere for under $70 a pound now

Amazingly though during all this madness, I found my Gen4 Glock 21 at my local Fleet farm for $549 , and then got another $25 off for opening a FF-credit card account, with 6-months 0% interest (which I paid off right away)

Went back in there last weekend, and they had a Mossberg 500 "just-in-case" 12ga that I have been considering, so I grabbed that, and wouldn't you know, that big PVC-tube the shotgun comes in holds all my chronograph and tripod equipment (bonus)

I paid $40/1K for pistol primers last week, and I was happy to get them. I don't mind one cent a round more for primers, not when .22's were $75/500 at the last gun show I attended.

525 Round pack of .22LR: $29.99
I'd buy a half dozen at that price. I have not seen any .22 in stores for months, and the stuff online has been going for twice that if not more.

The only things I've bought since the first of the year has been a modest amount of 9mm and .45 SD ammo and .45 target ammo, all at near normal prices, and about a dozen various magazines, also at near normal prices. I've managed to avoid buying anything at panic prices so far (although as I said above, I'm getting desparate for .22 ammo).

$43 for 1k of Federal Large Pistol Primers.
$16 for 50 rounds of PMC Bronze 9mm.
$8 For 20 rounds of TulAmmo 7.62x39

$1349 for a LE6920MP-FDE the Monday after Newtown. I had been thinking about it for a while before and decided to go for it. I was worried about future regulations being rushed through.

Lets see:

Brick of .22 for $50
Dicks had .38 for $25 a box

But I did luck out and find a bunch of Privi .308 for $0.50 a round

About a month ago me and my wife each bought 3-225 RD boxes of remington .22lr at the local walmarts $ 9.98 ea.
Well stocked with primers, powder and bullets. It was not planned, Just luck.

I'm man enough to admit. Head over to straightprep.com/forum and you'll see I'm not lying. That thread was about crying ;-)

I haven't bought into it at all. Scouts honor.

I paid $20 for 2 boxes of Tula .223 for my new AR at the gun show... got home to find one box was missing 4 rounds :cuss:

Got another couple to add.
The LGS had some ammo in stock for customers who bought guns, but none on the shelf for customers who just want to buy ammo. So I bought a box of Blazer brass 9mm 115 gr FMJ for $19.07 after tax.

Only gun I've sold since the panic was my beat up old sporterized Hungarian M-44 for $250.

Paid full panic price for a bulk box of federal .22, paid 70 total for it, I must stay away from GB when my sleep meds have kicked in!

Paid almost 700 dollars for a S&W 15-22 and not regretting it at all.

Paid 14.99 for a box of CCI mini-mags...double what they normally go for.

Paid 60 something for 60 rounds of M193 and a box of 50 Remington Thunderbolt 22's.

Paid 40 for 2 boxes of Remington UMC .40S&W.

Anything else I have gotten at reasonable prices.

Scored a S&W M&P 9 for 450 (was on sale before SH), paid a Normalish 360-something for a Taurus .357 7 shots for the wife (after SH).

Bought a Steyr M95 knowing full well ammo would be an arm and a leg but it's a nice wall hanger for 100 bucks that I might shoot now and then.

I have given up on 9mm, I snag whatever .22 there is and occasionally some 5.56.

OK, I'll bite: 65 cents a round for 9mm. I'm starting to run low on other stuff (.223, .45 ACP, etc.) so there may be a new act of contrition post soon.

So far I think the only thing I spent more money than I might have before was buying a box of 55 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip bullets to load in 5.56mm, because that was the only thing around. On the other hand, I discovered they are accurate and fun, and found a load that is my new small game load. ;)
Other than that, I gave away some magazines I didn't need to people who did, sold a few more, (Nope, nothing for sale now, sorry. :) ), but really, I stocked up before the panic went into overdrive - 2008 taught me that move. Nowadays all I see on the range are people like me, who are scrounging brass after they shoot. Only had one person brass ratting my brass...it was only 9mm, which I am pretty well supplied with, so I let it go.

Well, I haven't bought ammo since early December. I think the last 9mm I bought was in the 17 or 19 cent per round range. We bought 7.62 for around the same. My wife and I shoot every week or more and so far, we're still set.

I have though, moved back to reloading. I reloaded in the late 70's and 80's but got out of it. Mainly for rifle anyway.

Primers... Can't find any and I won't pay some of these prices. $40...maybe, and that's high but I've seen them on GB for $99/1000. Puke.

I also noticed a place selling remanufactured 9mm for 40 cents a round.. Another puke.

Ps.. My wife just informed me she bought some 9mm in late February for 23.5 cents/round. I think I need to go do some inventory!

$49.99 for Federal Large Magnum Match Primers and $180 for 8lbs. of H1000 powder. I do however catch a few good deals. I bought twelve 525rd. CCI blazer bulk boxes for $17 a box and the day of the tragedy I bought 1000 rounds of Federal M193 for $239.99.

Boy I missed being on this walk of shame by a hair.

I've spent most of the past three months in Asia on business, so haven't had the opportunity to really purchase anything. Don't think for a minute that wasn't nerve-wracking in itself!

Now I'm /starting/ to be a little relieved about it. Just starting, mind you.
