I was freaking when I heard that TFL was going away...all though I don't post a lot I checked it almost every day and found it interesting and usefull as well as alot of fun.....I'll be here..just had my 1st reply........I feel like a virgin again.......hey where's my wife???

I see my point has been thoroughly missed. Of course, thanks to Oleg and friends for their hard work in setting up The High Road. I thought that sentiment was well covered in (several) other threads.

I was trying to thank all the other boards that made us feel welcome while we waiting for THR to debut. Sites that we mostly ignored while we had TFL, but which took us in anyway in our time of need, and will probably be ignored again, now that THR is up.

I was trying to be gracious.

Boing, you make a good point. I'm certainly grateful to all those sites that came on board to offer TFL'ers a place to carry on their Web activities. If THR hadn't worked out, all of us would have to be out there still! I'm planning to continue my registration on other boards, as a sort of "thank you" to them. I won't visit them much, and won't post much, but I'll help keep their numbers up!

That said, I'm so very glad to see so many of the old crew here on THR. It's great being surrounded by friends!
