Well here it is. My 1984 Ruger Redhawk.
This is one fine (heavy) handgun 😁
Picked it up from my FFL, this weekend is shooting day with it. 20 plus years and my Grail gun is here.

Would be nice if Ruger would offer the 7.5" long barrels for the Redhawk in the non .44 calibers. They seem to have shifted to making the barrels shorter, especially for .357, as that and the 8rd capacity increases the appeal for conceal carry.

That Redhawk .357 cylinder reminds me of Shelby Slot mag wheels from the 1970’s. So much metal around those holes! IMG_3492.jpeg

Enjoy shooting that hoss of a .357 and be sure to let us know how it shoots when you get a chance. Oh, and congratulations again on filling that long-empty void in your gun collection.

Stay safe.

I can see a 357 Magnum Redhawk is like a S&W Model 27 357 Magnum revolver.

I have a 45 Colt Redhawk because I like the 45 Colt cartridge but the Rugers just look frumpy to me. That is not to say they are not good revolvers, just frumpy.

It is a "beauty in the eye of the beholder" thing.

Enjoy the 357 mag Redhawk. It will serve you well.

Now thats funny

That is the lsst of the major calibers that I don't have. I have the 41, 44, and 45C. Of the three the 41 has the most miles toted, and a toss up between ot and the 44 for number of rounds fired.

One of these days I'll add the 357, just have had other things ahead of it. Great addition, it will last several lifetimes.
