Gary Oldman's character is definitely worth watching.

Coolest line......

EVERYONE!!!!!!!

That line stuck with me...:)

Never got the Pedophilia angle. I looked at it more as a lolitta type thing. she was interested in him. he was uncomfortable with that.

When I saw it, I didn't see it as reflecting any interest in her part or his - just her desire to mess with his head. Remember, she is trying to manipulate him into killing the killers of her family (really her little brother).

I thought it was mainly to make clear that her character was pretty much of amoral revenge seeker - her family was not exactly a set of angels. It made sense to me that a child of a drug dealing family would be extremely manipulative with a complete loss of affect.

Ditto the scene on the roof - she didn't appear (as I recall) to know or care whether she was shooting a live round, a paintball, or a dart.

WRT to her parents and the amount of "sex" in the movie. She was 13 when the movie was released - which means that she was 11 or 12 when shooting the scenes. I am pretty everyone involved with the movie wanted to be very careful about the depiction of sexual manipulation in the film.

What I remember from the scene on the rooftop was him warning about scope flash - not too look tool long at the guy through the scope, because the target will see the flash from the lens. Is that realistic, or do they have lens coatings that prevent that?
