Opens tomorrow in Pigeon Forge at the Evergreen and runs through Sunday.

All sorts of interesting knives. You can never tell what you'll find.

The Saturday night auction always is interesting as well.

I missed getting one of Bob Neal's knives in spite of getting there by half past eleven! He was sold out in 15 minutes!!!

I did pick up a pair of Wayne Clay folders. A dealer that asked for my help with several knives and had and EDC size and Nesmuk like large folding skinner in buffalo horn with engraved bolsters of Wayne's. Wayne was a master maker and was known for his lightweight folders. His bolsters and liners were of a single piece of polished aluminum. Since Wayne died in 2015 I'd never gotten one of his knives so I jumped at the chance. :D

The auction tomorrow night has the largest selection of vintage switchblades I've seen so I doubt I'll have any money for the New York Custom Knife Show next weekend...in Nashville.

What I won from the auction -

A pair of Schrade Prestos in "molasses and butter".

And

A fancy Rainey Vallotton Sidewinder

And

A Case M1 Gemini machete in the case

I very much wanted to win several other pieces, but I set a limit for myself and stayed within it.

There were some fantastic collectable Case switchblades that went for half of their book value, but I didn't bring thousands in cash with me and other fellas did.

I go to Smoky Mountain Knife Works every time I am over there. Usually, my wife spends more than I do. However, your pics show that this is an entirely different venue. I know SMKW has some high end collectible stuff along with the Chinese stuff, but, like you, I doubt I would be able to afford even a tenth of what I would want at the show. And, congrats on what you did get, nice pieces!

Some very nice acquisitions there! I especially like the Rainey Vallotton Sidewinder!
