LOVE THAT HOLSTER!!!My new Springfield SA-25 has shown up.
It is everything I hoped for and expected. I could not be happier with this purchase.
Bought 3 xtra mec gars to go with it as well.
I've had that holster for 25years. I bought it for my Colt 1911 45. It's a Galco holster. I don't believe they make it anymore.LOVE THAT HOLSTER!!!
How you like the gun?
I'm taking the gun Monday to go shoot. I'm going to blast 100 rounds out of it for the day. But look, feel, quality build I cannot ask for better.LOVE THAT HOLSTER!!!

I bought 3 15rd mec gar from Gun warehouse. It is a bummer they only give 1 with the gun, but they aren't that expensive to buy.Good purchase....I predict you'll really like the SA-35. I have two BHP's plus the Springfield and in my use, the Springer is a better handgun: better trigger, better safety, good stocks, great sights, superior accuracy and absolute reliability to date. In fact, I cannot remember another pistol that was this reliable right out of the box, and that includes, Rugers, Sigs, Smiths and a half dozen Colt 1911's. The Springfield is 100% to date.
I'm way past 1000 rounds through mine: the bulk are handloads with both JHPs and lead alloy semi-wadcutters from Missouri Bullet Co. Mine prefers 124 gr weight bullets by a small margin, but both 115's and 124's will group ~2" at 25 yds from a rest position.
I wish Springfield had included another magazine with the gun, but the didn't. Mine works 100% with any of my other BHP mags that hold 13 rounds. I've also bought two MecGar 15 rounders that equally reliable.
Good luck with yours, and let us all know how it works out for you. Best regards, Rod
As a 1911 guy, I like a thinner cross section in the grips on my auto pistols; to that end, I replaced the Springfield stocks with a set of well colored Hogues. The gun just feels right now, and they do dress it up a bit too. I've posted this pic before so apologies to all for the repetition. Best Regards, Rod
Due respect, bannockburn, but I'm glad your daughter in law helped your HiPo shed the Pachyderms.I know what you mean; those Browning plastic factory grips were terrible. First thing I did was take them off and put a full set of Pachmays on the gun.
