I've no idea how he managed to hold that beast steady. When I saw it on the line, I figured one of the Hungarians was shooting what he had available.

Not impossible shooting the Walker one handed. Up until 18 years ago I used to be able to pick up and use an 8 lb Skillsaw one handed. Of course I had been doing that since I was 23. Looking at the shooters arm holding the Walker dispels any doubts of his abilities. As a fan of Bela Lugosi I got a kick out of the Hungarian accented English although these 2 spoke much faster that Lugosi.

He shot a nice group with that Walker as they discussed that he would be right in with the leaders in the regular revolver categories.

so there is more than one way to determine which is the best of the Colt percussion revolvers, and Gyula shows us one of them. I wonder how many folks tried to tell him he made a bad choice selecting that Walker.

I'm under the opinion that a regular built either by Pietta, Uberti or the 2nd and 3rd Generation Colts can be as accurate as any run-of-the mill Remington or Rogers and Spencer. And in my limited experience my 2nd Generation Colt was by far more accurate than my Pietta Remingtons. However, unlike the Colt or open tops. there are just so many more ways that the Remington and the Rogers & Spencer can be improved upon taking them to another higher league. Those options are just not available for the Colts.
