Don't know if this is the proper area to ask this question, but I've come across the site "thehighroad.us" which seems to have been part of this forum at one time. Can anyone enlighten me on this issue?

Very short version: There is an ongoing legal dispute over the ownership of a domain name. The 2 parties involved are operating 2 different sites while this works through the legal system.

Personal editorial: Both sites continue to be excellent sources of good information on firearms.

During a .com type dispute with another company or something, THR.com was temporarily shut down and the .US version was to take it's place for a while. seemed like things went back to normal a few weeks later.This is incorrect. Edited by BW

The split is due to an ongoing internal legal problem. We like to stay on track with just the day to day typical firearm discussion here. We do not do forum bashing and to prevent that and the topic has been covered and we typically close these threads.
