If you are a mere husband, assisting with that birth, that mght be another matter.
You're supposed to assist? Nobody said a word.

What Locations are unappropriate in your mind to carry concealed ?
Been there, done that, actually. If you are a woman giving birth, the delivery room may not be an appropriate place to carry.

What makes you say her concern is valid? I see no validity to it whatsoever. Anywhere the number and density of strangers increases, the odds of there being a bad actor among them increases, perhaps exponentially. What's the validity in a view that holds the more likely you are to need a gun, the more you should NOT have one?Leif Runenritzer said:her concern is valid, assuming she had me defending myself in mind. I should have said that i would rather have the gun and not be able to use it (for fear of hitting a bystander), than not have it.
The post office is not a legal question mark. Carry in a post office is unlawful. There is no question about it.bensdad said:I don't carry in places where it's illegal. I try to avoid such places. The post office is a legal question-mark. I carry in them.
I would say that any privately owned property (be that ownership in the hands of a person or corporation) where the owner has asked that you not carry is inappropriate to do so.
I would agree but only if the judge jurry plantiff defendant and spectators are all in seperate compartments of bullet proof glass. No place should be off limits, including court houses.
