Thinner grips for Ruger MK-III?

I have a factory standard Ruger MK-III Std 4 (stock no 10104). This is the basic model with the plastic grips. Are there any aftermarket grips that are thinner than the factory grips?

My daughter has small hands and has trouble reaching the trigger. If I remove the right hand side grip she can easily reach the trigger. So if I could get grips that are about half the thickness of the factory ones it should work. Thanks.

Have her hold a MKIII 22/45 at a gun shop or range. Very slim. It actually gets complaints about being too thin...

So the MKIII 22/45 grip is slimmer than the MKIII? Drat..wish I had known that when I bought it.

The 22/45's do have thinner grips. If you're interested, I could probably make you a thinner walnut pair for your MKIII.

The MKIII 22/45 is ~3/4" thick and is touted as duplicating the 1911 grip. Unfortunately, the 1911 grips is ~1 1/4" thick.
