Monday, April 14, 2003
The Bush administration announced its SUPPORT for keeping the 1994
Clinton-Feinstein-Schumer ban on scores of semi-automatic rifles and ban

The law automatically expires in September, 2004. But on Saturday
the 12th, the Knight Ridder News agency reported that White House
spokesman Scott McClellan stated, "The president supports the current
law, and he supports reauthorization of the current law,"
