A) Can't find written difference between them. What is it? I notice: -Encore the newer safer version? -Contender has a thicker barrel?

B) How well does the bead-sight work? It looks 10x better than adjustables.

The encore is basically the same thing as a contender except it is built heavier and will allow for the use of higher pressure chamberings like 30-06. If I were purchasing one, I would look at the chamber offerings for both and make the decision on which one to buy based on that.

yes contender is just a lighter framed gun that has a lot of smaller cartridges avalible and the encore is bigger and can have barrels in every thing the contender can have and more... one think i wonder is will the regular encore barrels will fit on the pro hunter? i would think they should, but donnno for sure???
