I'm sure it woudl be fun to shoot... but I'd rather do other things with the 10-22.
Like that MG-42 kit I've seen advertised.

Pretty neat. Not something I'd spend 250 bucks on, but I don't have much money.

That does look like it would be fun, but at $400 total ($150 base ruger 10/22 carbine price plus the $250 kit) I don't think the price is justified.
