Need advice on the LR .308 oracle, I had an impose buy on this upper offered by Midway.
http://www.midwayusa.com/product/361133/dpms-lr-308-oracle-a3-flat-top-upper-assembly-308-winchester-1-in-10-twist-16-heavy-contour-barrel-chrome-moly-matte-with-glacierguard-handguard-single-rail-gas-block-flash-hider-pre-ban?cm_vc=wishList

Did I make a mistake?
Thank you.

No should be a good rifle! Should be 1-1 1/2 moa with match ammo. Put the optic of your choice on it and your good to go!

I would buy 308 20 round pmags and ditch the mag that came with it. With no chrome lining you may want to clean it more often.

Have fun!

I when to the site again & it doesn't state anything about a magazine. It's not a issue anyway I have a few of Pmags waiting.

If its NIB from DPMS, then it has 2 19 round aluminum mags included. My experience is they feed and function fine, but mine has been a paper-puncher only. Accuracy is very good. No chrome lining, so do keep an eye on it maintenance and corrosion prevention wise.

Trigger in mine is very meh. I need to replace it with something else.

Mine has had trouble with a recent lot of DAG surplus, prior lot ran 100%. Probably just an under-powered lot.

I purchased the complete upper only from Midway, if it comes with mags then it's a plus. Anyone else have or shot one of this?

If you just bought an upper, you need a compatible 308 lower to be able to shoot it. Which one do you have?

A Tactical Machining lower.

I have a DPMS panther Tac20 and have enjoyed it thouroughly. Good gun for the price and it shoots well. Only about 700 rounds shot but not one misfeed with the factory mags - flawless.
