Thoughts on hand priming tools?

I like the K&M, though one has to individually insert the primers. Great feel.

I’d like to try the FA.

I haven't used that one, but I'm sure it's great.

For one at a time priming, the 21st Century tool is simply awesome.

For priming in volume, nothing so far beats my older style RCBS hand primer. The new ones don't have the
same leverage and are hard on my hands.

Man’ I got a weakness for good tools so don’t get me started cause the wife keeps telling me - HELLO WE’RE MOVING, STOP BRINGING CRAP HOME.......

I had two of the square tray Lee's, and one Lee mounted on my Lee turret. They all worked, but I wasn't in love with any of then exactly. They were always a little "fiddly".

When I needed to pick up a new hand primer, I grabbed the RCBS universal and am kicking myself for not getting one sooner! Mine is great and I've had zero issues with it. Runs like a top and the universal shell holder is a great idea and works perfectly for me. It's a very slick little unit. Much more sturdily built than the Lee's I used.

Most of my loading these days is bulk pistol ammo on the Dillon and I am not in the double handling "brass prep" school of loading. I haven't worn out my second "round Lee" because it gets a lot less use than when I was in F class and BPCR. So I can't pronounce on the current crop.

I do wish I could get shell holders for my old W.H. English Pak Tool, it will really sock them home.

The discontinued click adjustable Grizzly bench primer is nice, and easy on the hands, but not fast.

I started out with the Lee old round priming tool which worked ok, moved up to the RCBS that takes shell holders and it works great but it always seemed I was taking it apart because I need the shell holder. Currently I use the RCBS universal tool which I have found works just fine from 204 caliber to 375 H&H.

One good thing about the Lee tool is the trays made great trays to attach to a primer pick up tube to make my own primer tube filler. Add a little vibration from either my case tumbler or sex toy and I can fill tubes fast.

When I first started loading I used the Lee with the round primer holders. Then I got the RCB Universal. I have not used either for years. I just prime on the press.
Other than for a some super duper bench rest loaders I can not see using a hand primer that holds one primer and you need to place a primer in every time??

No one mentioned the Sinclair. $100! Guess it is like the K&M!
