Made an impulse buy today at academy, a Rossi rb22 for $130 out the door. Since I sold my 10/22 all I had was a Remington 550 for a .22 rifle and I've never owned a .22 bolt gun. Seems to be OK quality, the bolt is a bit stiff but I like the sights. Anyone esle have experience with it?

I had a rossi 802 heavy barrel, which looks like pretty much the same gun except for the finish and barrel weight. Mine was accurate, reliable, and generally a good buy. Think I spent 250 mine.

Took it to the range a few days ago, easy to zero and had about a 1.5 in group at 50 yards with a tang container of mixed ammo. Very nice trigger, almost no take up or creep, crisp and light with no over travel. Sights a are a bit coarse and the fiber optics don't work so well indoors, but easy to sight in.
