Thoughts on Sig E2022 SIGPRO 9

Hi, I am trying to by a 9mm, would like to stay cheaper, and compact. I really like the p226, but to expensive. The ranges around me don't have any of these for rent, was wondering what other people's experience are. Thanks.

I have pretty much the same weapon, the SP2009, and it's been amazing. Bought it new in '04, have WELL over 10k....lost count by now. Very solid, reliable weapon. Will never part with it.

The 2022 does NOT have the same feel as the 226, but mine points right and shoot fine. I suggest you handle one before you buy it. Good Luck.

Have you considered trying to find a CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) 226? That's how I got mine, $250 cheaper than a new one. Most are LEO trade-ins that have had springs and worn parts, sometimes even barrels, replaced. And they're warrantied for a year.

CPO? Havent seen any in stock, and the cheapest price I saw was somewhere in the $575, about $100 more than what I saw the 2022 does....hmmm....
