Last week, Hpwr223 placed 27th in the National Trophy Individual (out of roughly 1300) with a 293-12x and Blind Rat finished 117 with a score of 287-5x. Both would have made the Leg Point cut, but I believe both shooters are already Distinguished. Jon C. unfortuately did not make the cut.
The NTI was only a 300 point match this year (as opposed to 500) as weather was so poor that the 600 yard slow prone was complretely cancelled after two attempts. The scores you see were what they could shoot in high winds and rain.
On Friday, Jon shot on Colorado State Shooting Association's "CSSA GOLD" team and thattem finished 16th place with a 2796-43X (out of 3000) and John Sylvester's team Zen Gold finished 19th with a 2777-52x. Great shooting guys!
Yesterday, Jon C. took 4th in the Master Class in the Coast Guard Trophy match, which is tuesday's sitting rapid fire match. John shot a 199-7x. Great shooting!
