Take a look at what I picked-up today! :D It's Ti Caspian frame, stainless slide, slim line Alumagrips, extended mag release, some reaaaallly cool checkering, bob tailed, 10-8 Trijicon night sights and some nice hand touches. :D I'm one happy camper! This a Ontarget Custom Gun Works build and Jess did a fabulous job as always. I will post a range report this weekend once I get some rounds through it. Take a look at this eye candy!

I don't even want to know what that set you back. Wait, yes I do!

If I told you I'd have to kill you...:D nah it was right @ $2k, a bargin compared to some other custom 1911's. Jess does awesome work and I'm prowd of this one! It even has a special serial number.:D I feel like a gun glutten...maybe I need to purge.

2-dimes is great price for that level of custom work; I am assuming that the trigger and action is as sweet as the look. I especially like those grips, I need to get myself a set.

I'm curious, do you have an idea what the wieght of the pistol is?

Read my thread on the 1911 conspiracy against me! Now, you go and do this to me! You are NOT helping me conquer my addiction.

Congratulations. That is one beautiful 1911 and I'll wager it shoots like it looks.

Holy crap, that's one of the coolest 1911's I've seen in a while.

I want it! Can I have it... please!?

For real though, I call dibs if you ever decide to sell it.

That's a beauty. I like the look of the clear aluma grips, have some on my SA black stainless. I'll bet it shoots like a dream.

Distra, I'm in CT as well. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me come shoot it!!! I'll buy the ammo, and lunch, and drinks, and wimmin, and whatever else you could possibly want!!!

When I finally get a 1911, i think it would be darn sexy to save up and get one of these, and perhaps some of those damascus steel grips from WickedGrips.

Very nice...wow.

you may want to take more pictures with a better back drop. I am not one to ever complain about a pic, but that gun is way too nice to have that carpeting in the background.;)

very nice, again !

Congratulations of that work of art.

Did you get the caburizing treatment on the frame to prevent galling?

Distra,

I was at the range with Jesse when he was breaking that gun in and giving a final fitting to the slide (we had done some trigger work on mine, and went to the range to see how she shot). Let me tell you, thats the sweetest shooting gun I've ever laid eyes on. From 15 yards, Jesse put five shots through the same hole. Wouldn't have believed it unless I was there.

Beautiful gun. And that bobtail fit SO perfectly. Congratulations on a wonderful firearm. After seeing yours, I was pretty much convinced to let Jesse build my next 1911.

That frame will never wear out.

Verra Nice. How much does the titanium frame weight in relation to an aluminum alloy?
