I'm torn NFA stuff or early original.
BAR,Thompson,Rising,M3 and Original M16 or SAA flat top 44, S&W triple lock target, 1878 Browning, early M70 and prolly need a really nice early double barrel

1- Browning A5 in 20 ga with vent rib
2 -Colt 45acp gold cup match grade
3- browning superposed in 20ga
4- pre 1964 model 70 in 257 Roberts
5- browning trombone 22 LR pump
Bull

I lived with five guns for most of my adult life and they served me pretty well, so the list would be the same with only one alteration:
  • Parabellum '08 pistol in 9mm with 4 inch barrel
  • M1911A1 pistol in 45 ACP
  • Armi Jager AP-74 .22LR rifle
  • An ex-Military M1 Carbine
  • 181-Series Mini-14

mmmm hard to pick just 5 guns I like to see brought back.

1. Ashley H. Fox double barrel 12ga.
2. Shiloh Sharps
3. Colt Peacemaker
4. M1 Garand
5. Paratrooper model AC556 with a giggle switch!

Hmm, without bending the premise:
Pederson .276
Johnson Rifle (from Melvin himself)
Mauser C96 carbine in .45acp (which would have a large number of auction houses waiting to me to reach room temp)
Colt Commercial in Royal Blue in .38 Super
Colt 1903 .32acp also in Royal Blue.

An also-ran of a complete set of Pythons in Royal Blue in all the barrel lengths.
Also Colt Custom Shop matched electroless nickle in Officer's, LTCR, Comannder, and full size all in .45acp

Now, in 1968, I was eight years old. I was also part of a limited trust with a sort-of relative heading off to SE Asia. (Yes, cue eerie music.) Pretty sure that "estate" would have had a Stoner, A Swedish K, likely a MAT 25, an M2 Carbine, and possibly an MP-40. That particular locker always had some interesting things in it. However, I wouldn't trade the sea stories from that "Uncle" for even time travel.

I knew you would toss a mini 14 in there(hidden as a AC556 a dream gun of mine:thumbup:) but why a Shiloh Sharps? Why not the real thing? Good Lord man you've got a time machine!

I would go back to the early 80's and get a real MP5. Also a G3/HK91 or HK93.

Next I suppose I'd get a nice Colt Python. They're nice guns and it would be nice for sentimental reasons (Dad had one and we shot it a lot).

Maybe a nice Walker Colt, too.

Lastly I would travel back to the 1500s and get the first of whatever Beretta was starting out with back then.

HAHA, well the AC556 has always been a dream gun for me, and I always liked the movie "Quigley Down Under" and the Shiloh Sharps 1874 Long Range Rifle. I'm a wall hanger kind of guy.

1. & 2. Would entail a trip to London/Birmingham for a couple bespoke guns, a double rifle in .500Nitro Express and a 12ga game gun. Could be Westley Richards, James Purdey, H&H or one of the lesser known makers.

3. A fully optioned and engraved John Rigby .416. One of the London-built guns, not just a rebadged Mauser.

4. Either a Colt SAA or maybe an 1860 Richards Conversion factory engraved by someone like Cuno Helfricht.

5. This would depend on #4 and would be either a Colt Bisley Flat-top Target or a S&W Triple Lock Target .44 Special.

Well, I'm a sucker for Time-Travel-it's my greatest fantasy.

I'd go back to Philly and sit down with Jim, Benny, John, Alex, Abe, Pierce, Bill, George, etc., and I'd make sure the 2nd Amendment was written to be much simpler & shorter, something along the lines of "The Right of the People to Keep and Bear Arms, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED."

Then we wouldn't have to play this game!

Well people can say what they will about you, but you certainly have excellent taste.
First class choices.

5 is tough...but doable. Sharps in 45-110 is at the top of the list. Schofield revolver is up there too. 1927a1 Thompson with a few sticks and a couple drums would be really nice. Throw in a colt revolving rifle for good measure. Last but not least would be a Remington model 11 trench gun following ww2. I think I have my bases covered...if artillery pieces are available I'll take a bofors instead of the model 11 and a whitworth instead of the schofield.
Colt revolving rifle? I like this. Good idea.

Just one. I'd put myself in Sarejevo, Austria-Hungary early in the day of June 28th, 1914. I'd find a young wild eyed man by the name of Gavrilo Princip, and offer him a Gold Eagle $20 for that Browning 1910 before he took that fatal shot. Then I would try to get him to a doctor with that gold to get his tuberculosis under control so the urge wouldn't strike him again. Then I could come home with a totally innocuous .32 ACP pistol to play with, and take a gander to see what's changed. ;) As long as we're playing. :D

5 is not enough but here goes

back to 1912: go to Holland & Holland Arms and get combo double shotgun/rifle in 16 ga & 400/450 NE
and a 375 H&H bolt gun. then go across town to Rigby and get a 275 Rigby, after that a 318 Westly Richards
and finally a 404 Jeffery and I'm out !! Fantasy fulfilled !!

Nothing crazy but firearms I'd love to have at a decent price...
1) Colt Python
2) Colt Anaconda .44
3) "Tommy Gun" (full auto of course)
4) BAR
5) 1903A3

I was 21 before they closed the machinegun list. I could make it work
Five firearms I'd bring back-
1) The Garand my father trained with in the Marine Corps
2) The Browning BAR my father carried in post Korean War Okinawa
3) The M1 carbine my uncle carried in Cold War Germany
4) The M14 my uncle carried in Cold War Germany
5) One of the US&S 1911s my great aunt machined frames for

1. A Colt SAA
2. HK MP5A2
3. HK MP5SD
4. A Benelli M4
5. GAP FBI HRT rifle

All NIB, late manufacture. Some, I could never afford lol. Others, maybe I could but I couldn't justify it unless I had a time machine, despite being currently available. :p
