I had the wood version. It was a very nice little knife. I wish I still had it.A couple Gerber silver knights in wood and abalone. Good steel from the pre-Fiskars era.View attachment 909524
If you still want one, I have one that I carried around for years, as well as the two unused specimens. It's yours for the cost of shipping if desired.I had the wood version. It was a very nice little knife. I wish I still had it.
went looking for my Manixes. I found both 2 LWs and my original, but don't see my Manix 2 XL. Hopefully it'll turn up- it's my favorite hard use folder!
Glad the Manix 2 is working for you.I remember that you stated in a post some time ago your preference for the Manix over the PM-2. I had both knives at the time and my personal preference (at the time) was the PM-2. But I had the lightweight Manix 2. There was a lot that I liked about it, but it was just too light, and still a relatively large knife. Plus I didn't care for the CTS BD1 steel in the blade compared to the S30V in the PM-2.
But last week I got a chance to handle the regular Manix 2 with G10 handles and S30V steel. Now I get it. I bought it and it hasn't been out of my pocket since. I also have a couple of the Natives that will serve for the times I need something smaller. The older Native I bought at Walmart years ago for $35. The blade grind is slightly different than the newer production knife, but still basically the same. I could probably do everything I need to do with a pocket knife with those 2.
Well, that blade must be almost 2" long. With a vicious weapon of mass destruction like that, it's understandable.I used to have it on my keychain but got tired of being sent back to my car when trying to get into places.

It’s exactly 4” overall length, and I have it off with a friend of mine having a sheath made for it.
