I think it would be fun to shoot----if someone else was paying for the ammo and only a few times as it would become boring. I grew up trying to make every shot count as 22 ammo didn't grow on my tree. As a kid I had little money to buy ammo with and parents were not very forthcoming with either, money for me or ammo. I didn't want for food or clothing but ammo was seen as some what of a luxury. Despite that I did manage to shoot my 22 quite a bit. I have never broke the habit ( haven't tried to) and mag dumps are something I don't do, even if it's just a 22.
My grandkids, despite all the money I spent on them, had an expression they used when I would pass on buying something I liked. It was, "Granpa's billfold is biting him in the butt again".
